John,
The New York Times is reporting that AIPAC is urging Republican big-money donors to spend even more to defeat Squad members like Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush — and that they invited both Jamaal's and Cori's primary opponents as guests of honor at a major donor summit this week, along with a video appearance from disgraced Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu:
We already knew that the Republican megadonors who fund AIPAC planned to spend over $100 million to defeat progressives in Democratic primaries this year. Now it looks like they are planning to spend even more.
We’ve proven we don’t need to match them dollar-for-dollar in order to defend our progressive champions in Congress. But we do need enough resources to make sure the voices of our candidates aren’t drowned out by right-wing attacks.
Can you make a contribution — of any amount — to help us fight back against AIPAC’s attacks and defend our elected champions in Congress in 2024?

It’s no surprise that AIPAC is sweating. Just over the last few weeks, they have:
-
Lost in their first foray into Democratic primaries in a Congressional race in California, despite spending over $5 million on attack ads,1
- Seen over 20 organizations including WFP join together and urge Democratic candidates and officials to Reject AIPAC, in an unprecedented coalition effort,2
- Had embarrassing documents leaked that show they are urging candidates and surrogates to lie about the severity of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza,3
- Watched as their brand has become increasingly toxic, and Democratic leaders start to break with Prime Minister Netanyahu, even as they wholeheartedly embrace him and his horrific policies.4
The Republican billionaires who fund AIPAC may claim they are focused only on one issue. But here’s what they really want:
They want to elect Republicans in swing seats and conservative Democrats in safe ones. They want to drag the whole country to the right on issues from healthcare to climate change, from the minimum wage to student debt. And they want to put insurrectionist Republicans, MAGA, and Trump back in full control of the levers of power in Washington, D.C.
We can’t let any of that happen. And that starts with defending our own Congressional champions in primaries that kick off next month.
Can you chip in with a contribution to help us fight back and defend our elected champions in Congress in 2024? Every grassroots contribution will help us reach more voters in primaries that start in just a few weeks.
