BIG NEWS: We’ve endorsed over 50 progressive Champions in the past few
weeks.

These candidates are running in races from prosecutor to state house.
We’re already training these candidates (many of whom have very limited
resources) and expanding our candidate support program.

Competitive state and local races like these drive turnout for the entire
Democratic ticket -- lifting Democratic chances up and down the ballot.

elect them and other progressives in key battlegrounds across the country?

Here are some of the Champions we just endorsed:

* Clayton Harris is running for State’s Attorney in Cook County, IL, the
second largest prosecutorial office in the nation. His race is an
uphill battle, and his opponent is supported by far-right special
interests.
* Shayla Favor is running for Prosecutor in Franklin County, OH, where a
"tough-on-crime" Republican held the office until just 4 years ago.
* Andrea Andrews is running against the last remaining far-right
extremist on the Dane County Board in Wisconsin.
* Megan Kocher is challenging an incumbent Republican in PA House
District 119, one of the most competitive State House seats in PA and
the key to expanding the slim Democratic majority in the House.
* Doyle Canning, a climate activist and union organizer, is running for
Oregon State House District 8.
* Brandon Williford came within 200 votes of one of the most
conservative members of the Milwaukee County Board earlier this year,
and is primed to flip this critical seat.

and other progressives around the country.

More progressive candidates running effectively at the local level means
more authentic conversations with voters. That impacts campaigns from city
council to U.S. Senate and even the race for president.

According to research from our friends at Run for Something, competitive
state legislature races can boost the top-of-ticket vote by over 2 points
– more than enough to win close races -- and potentially enough to flip
the House blue.

Our training and coaching, along with direct donations from people like
you, helped progressive Champions defeat fascists, book banners, and
insurrection sympathizers running for school board, state legislature, and
other key races last year. Nearly two thirds of our endorsed candidates
won in 2023.

We have even more ambitious goals for local endorsements and candidate
support in 2024. We can only fund this work with your help.

2024? Please chip in $3 (or $20.24 if you can) to support our work
training, funding, and electing progressive battleground candidates across
the nation next year.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
