Maine people lead by example – we look out for each other, work hard, and choose our own independent paths.

It’s pretty fitting that we elect leaders who reflect those values as well. Like Maine, Angus King is an Independent leader. He values problem-solving over politics, finding common ground, and doing what’s right. Because at the end of the day, you don’t care what political party your neighbor belongs to when they help pull your car out of the snow bank (or tag team a dog sled race with you).
