Join us for in-person workshops: Living Legacy

This April, Jenn Owens, ACF President & CEO, and Christy Cole, ACF Director of Philanthropy (view bios), will be joined by estate attorneys, wealth advisors, and interfaith leaders, for a comprehensive look at "the art and science of being remembered." From creating ethical wills to a hands-on obituary-writing workshop, this multi-week course will help you define, enhance, secure, and share your legacy.

Developing a practice of regular contributions to your donor-advised fund at the community foundation not only allows you to systematically build a philanthropic nest egg for your annual giving to favorite charities, but also paves the way for your future legacy bequests. Whether your cadence of contributions is monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually, the consistency delivers many benefits. 

Share/Apply for the Chu and Piper Family Career and Technical Education Award by May 6

Available to recent high school graduates and non-traditional students, this award provides up to $10,000 per year for 2 years in a high-growth career educational program. The applicant must be an Arlington resident pursuing a career or technical education accredited program, within a high-growth career, that will be completed within two years.
