Sometimes I look through my inbox at the endless barrage of emails from political campaigns and organizations and I wonder how anyone donates at all?

Some campaign has a triple-match offer (it's fake.)

Another campaign has an "official mid-month fundraising deadline” (not a real thing.)

And if you're inclined to donate, how do you choose between all the messages you’re getting?

First, I am grateful you've even opened this email. In the sea of political emails, even that is a small win (and it happens to help ensure our emails get into inboxes and not spam, so thank you.) These messages are important to me: I write every single email we send you.

As you read this, Trump is the Republican nominee for president. The Republican Senate candidates in Michigan are still fighting to see who the nominee will be.

But whoever they choose, we can expect this to be one of the most competitive and expensive races in the country. And this moment -- while they fight amongst themselves -- is an opportunity for me to introduce myself to voters in a way they can't while they fight to out-MAGA each other.

So please. This is a strategically important moment to donate to this campaign.

There's no way I could expect you to donate to every email we send, but I hope you will give to this one.

Can I count on you to use this link to contribute today, to my campaign for U.S. Senate?

Emails like this are a big part of the way we fund our campaign. We raise much more online than our opponents, and that gives us a big advantage. It's a big part of why we'll win.

Thank you,
