John, I hope you’re following this:

The fight for fair maps is happening all around us, and it’s reaching a fever pitch to lock in districts for the November election — the progress we’ve made in key states is all because of this grassroots team.

But our work is far from over. Rush a $20.24 donation to All On The Line to help ensure our maps are the fairest we’ve seen in generations. → [link removed]

John, part of my job here at All On The Line is to track the daily movements of state legislatures and courts in the fight for fair maps.

And let me tell you: a lot is happening right now!

I hope you’ll take a minute to read my latest redistricting roundup below, and then make a donation of $20.24 to help ensure we can keep working to end gerrymandering and restore fairness to our elections in each and every state we can. → [link removed]

New York:

The state legislature recently approved a new set of fair congressional maps, and Gov. Kathy Hochul signed them into law, a victory that would not have been possible without this grassroots movement. We’re one big step closer to reaching a final congressional map nationwide for this year’s elections.

Wisconsin:

Earlier this month, the Wisconsin Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge to the state's gerrymandered congressional map. This isn’t the result we were hoping for, but the fight for fair maps in the Badger State is far from over.

Let’s not forget that Governor Evers signed a new set of state legislative maps into law in February, marking the first time in over a decade that Wisconsin voters will have a fair opportunity to elect a truly representative and responsive state legislature! We’ve shown time and time again that when we organize, we can move the needle together.

Alabama:

And last week, we got a glimpse of what happens when you introduce more fairness and representation into our democracy. After a long legal fight that went all the way to the Supreme Court, Alabama finally has a map that complies with Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which requires a map in which Black voters have the opportunity to elect candidates of their choice in two districts. In the first primary election since the new AL-02 district was drawn, voter participation surged. That's why we do this work.

None of that progress is possible without you.

There’s still more up in the air in states across the country — we’ll be in touch with more updates as they happen. With your support, All On The Line is leading the grassroots movement for fair maps. But as A.G. Holder says, we’re living in an era of perpetual redistricting — and that means we need your support now more than ever.

Will you make a $20.24 donation to All On The Line today to help sustain this nationwide fight for fairness in our democracy? → [link removed]
