TikTok, owned by ByteDance, a company with ties to the Chinese Communist Party, operates under China's 2017 National Intelligence Law which mandates data sharing with the Chinese government. 

The app is used to manipulate users and collect sensitive data on Americans - a significant threat to our country's national security.

TikTok has been given the choice to either sever ties with the Chinese Communist Party or be banned in the United States.
