Making TikTok Safe for America!
VICTORY! Freedom rang as the House of Representatives passed bipartisan legislation targeting TikTok, marking a resolute stand against foreign adversaries seeking to infiltrate our digital realm with a bill designed to force the sale of all CCP-China holdings to US interests and protect Americans from being manipulated and spied upon.

Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act garnered overwhelming support with a 352-65 vote, underscoring bipartisan concern over the influence of Communist China.
House Speaker Mike Johnson emphasized the urgency of addressing the risks associated with apps like TikTok, which provide avenues for the Chinese Communist Party to exploit sensitive data and manipulate public opinion. The bill aims to restrict app store availability and web-hosting services for ByteDance-controlled applications unless they sever ties with entities subject to foreign adversary control.
House Speaker Mike Johnson's declaration echoed the sentiments of a nation unwilling to yield to Communist China's brazen attempts to exploit platforms like TikTok for its nefarious ends. With Senators Mark Warner and Marco Rubio amplifying the call to action, this legislative triumph resonates as a clarion call for unwavering vigilance in defense of our digital sovereignty and the sanctity of our national security.
Rep. Gallagher, Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party is working hard to set the record straight on a few fears or misconceptions on the bill noting, “It DOES NOT apply to American companies. It ONLY applies to companies subject to the control of foreign adversaries defined by Congress. It says NOTHING about election interference and CANNOT be turned against any American social media platform. It DOES NOT impact websites in general. The ONLY impacted sites are those associated with foreign adversary apps, such as TikTok .com. It CAN NEVER be used to penalize individuals. The text EXPLICTLY prohibits that. IT CANNOT be used to censor speech. It takes no position at all on the CONTENT of speech, only foreign adversary control. With the CCP tumor surgically removed from TikTok, Americans will be free to share whatever content they like—no matter how bad the dance moves may be. But instead of being fed whatever the opaque, CCP-controlled algorithm dictates, it will be theirs alone.”
The legislation's passage signals a firm stance against foreign surveillance and underscores the importance of holding tech companies accountable for protecting American interests. With President Joe Biden expressing support for the bill, its enactment into law appears imminent, heralding a pivotal moment in safeguarding digital sovereignty and national security.
