It is a wild and woolly time at the UN Commission on the Status of Women that is nearing the end of its first week.
Radical feminists are everywhere, proclaiming all sorts of dangerous ideas. We were shocked this week to hear that UNICEF is silent on parental consent with regard to mutilating sexual surgery for minors. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. was there and reports. [[link removed]]
The radical feminists who run the commission have effectively blocked pro-life organizations from running events at the UN that are not sponsored by governments. In response, CFM, and a number of other pro life and pro-family groups are running a counter conference nearby. Iulia-Elena Cazan reports [[link removed]] on one of those panels that featured, among others, the great pro-life hero, Abby Johnson.
