Donald Trump just said during a CNBC interview that he supports cuts to Social Security and Medicare, two of the most popular and successful social programs in U.S. history.

Asked whether there’s any difference between his position and President Biden’s on Social Security and Medicare, Trump said: “There is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting.”

His campaign is now scrambling wildly to take it back, but they can’t. It’s right there on tape. The most shocking thing about Trump’s comments is that for once he actually told the truth.
