We saw an all-out assault on a woman’s right to obtain a safe and legal abortion in 2019. The Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, Missouri, Kentucky, Utah, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi state legislatures all introduced bills that limit a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. And even more states have joined them in 2020.

We need strong pro-choice Democratic women fighting for women’s rights in Washington, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you for help today.

Susie was elected as part of a historic class of freshman congresswomen, but that victory was hard-fought. It’ll be an even tougher campaign this cycle.

Ultra-conservative Super PACs spent nearly $5 million to defeat her in 2018, and in the end, Susie managed to win by single digits. Based on how much national Republican groups have already spent this year, they think Susie’s seat is prime for the taking.
