Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for your ongoing support as I fight for our shared, conservative values here in St. Paul. The fight has not been an easy one with the Democrat Trifecta hellbent on destroying the state we all love, but I am more committed than ever to making sure that we stop and slow down Democrats’ march towards socialism.

So much of our current problems started during the COVID-19 pandemic—that’s when we saw the power grab from Democrats come into focus beginning with Gov. Walz’s unlawful, never-ending emergency powers, efforts to mandate vaccines, shutting down our schools, and destroying thousands of businesses across Minnesota.

Beginning in 2020, I was proud to vote *more than 20 times* to end Gov. Walz’s emergency powers and *am signed onto this year’s “Never Again” bill here in the House* to make sure that this sort of abuse of power never can happen again in the state of Minnesota. I also support reforming the emergency powers process to require legislative approval for them to be declared in the first place.

Never again should one man or woman be able to rule over Minnesota like a king or queen.

I was also proud to co-author legislation that would prohibit discrimination based on vaccine status. There is no way that the government should be able to tell you or your employer whether you can keep your job based on private medical decisions and this won’t happen as long as I’m serving you and your family in St. Paul.

*Religious Liberty*

I continue fighting against Democrats’ efforts to further erode religious freedom and liberty in Minnesota by forcing religious organizations, churches, and nonprofits to adhere to the Democrat understanding of what “gender identity” means. I am working to make sure that religious organizations and faith-based schools can, among other things, hire teachers and ministers consistent with their mission and values.

*Election Integrity*

During COVID-19, we saw Democrats across the country and right here in Minnesota significantly change election laws. I fought hard against these changes and co-authored the Minnesota Election Integrity Act which would require voter ID and eliminate many of the changes that have been made by Democrats in recent years.

*One Expensive Minnesota*

We’ve also seen the Democrat Trifecta blow out the state budget by increasing government spending by 40%, raising taxes by $10 billion, and spending the entire $18 billion budget surplus. This surplus belonged to you, the hardworking taxpayers of Minnesota.

I fought extremely hard to return this surplus through meaningful and lasting tax relief  including a full repeal of the state’s unfair and unjust tax on social security benefits. While Democrats grow government programs, you and your family will be asked to fork over billions of dollars in new taxes.

This is not “One” Minnesota as Gov. Walz likes to talk about so often. This is one “EXPENSIVE” Minnesota and a divisive budget where some are going to pay the price for Democrats’ lack of fiscal restraint, for the benefit of others.

We need to return fiscal balance and sanity to St. Paul which is why I continue to fight these fights on behalf of you, your family, and all Minnesota taxpayers.

Time and again, I have been standing up to the Democrat Trifecta in St. Paul and fighting for our shared values of limited government, personal freedom and responsibility, and putting you and your family first.

Recent efforts to defund the police, coddle criminals, and take away your 2nd Amendment rights do not align with the values of you, the people I represent in St. Paul.

These are the things I stand against daily in St. Paul and I appreciate your support and for joining me in the fight.
