Biden’s Border Policy = “Don’t Say Illegal”
Texas Must Respond [[link removed]][link removed]
At the end of the last session, I wrote Senate Bill 4, along with Senator Charles Perry, R-Lubbock, and Governor Abbott, giving law enforcement the ability to arrest and deport illegal immigrants. Repeat offenders could face a second-degree felony with a punishment of two to 20 years in prison. It enforces the laws and fights back against Biden’s Border Crisis. However, it’s tied up in the courts right now.
I went on Fox News to discuss why we need this in Texas. Here's what I had to say. [[link removed]]
We know what we need to secure the border and fight illegal immigration. In Shelby Park, we deployed razor wire. Guess what — it worked! Illegal crossings dropped dramatically, from three to four thousand a day to less than 12 people a day!
Back in Washington, though, Biden is hung up on whether the politically correct term is “undocumented” or “illegal.” You just can’t make it up.
Biden has turned his back on Texas, but Texas isn’t backing down. We will keep fighting Biden and the Democrats who support open-border policies.

We had a great turnout at the Cy-Fair Republican Women’s Club this week. I don’t get to speak in my home county, Harris, very often because I travel the state so much. Some of these ladies supported me when I first ran for the Senate in 2005/06. I would not have been elected to the Senate without them.
I am pictured above with Club President Sandra Bramble, who is doing an amazing job, along with her husband, Jim. I am also pictured with Representative Mike Schofield and my long-time friend and Republican leader, Edith Gibson.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

I went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this week with my grandkids, and of course, they had to have bacon cheeseburgers with funnel cake rolls. The best news is they didn’t get sick in the car going home!
