Shape the Future:
Join Us for BayREN's Single Family Program Redesign Feedback Sessions
The Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) is a collaboration of the nine Bay Area counties and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) focused on promoting energy efficiency and resilience in buildings through incentives, training, outreach, and technical assistance. BayREN is redesigning its Single Family program to better serve homeowners and residents through an updated equity approach and would like to gather feedback from community stakeholders. The program is hoping to serve people of moderate income below 120% of the Area Median Income ( $147,000 for one person in San Mateo County), people with limited English proficiency and people who live in pollution burdened communities.
The County of San Mateo’s BayREN Representative, Alero Moju in collaboration with Acterra, will be hosting a 90 minute in-person focus group discussion throughout March to share information about BayREN’s Single Family Program redesign to gauge interest, and receive feedback on the needs and potential opportunities for the program. It is crucial to get feedback from the community to understand what gaps exist in building decarb programs. This is a rare opportunity to shape what this regional program looks like and how it can serve County Residents.
We will compensate community participants in the form of $50 gift cards.
