It's official, team: Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.

Donald Trump will need MAGA Republicans to grow their House majority so that he can carry out his radical agenda, which means he’ll be working closely with people like Elise Stefanik to win seats like Pat’s — and Stefanik will be happy to oblige if it means she can secure his blessing to be vice president.

Stefanik and national Republicans have already signaled their intention to push hard for this seat by labeling Pat as one of their top targets in 2024 and pledging to spend $100 million in New York to defeat him.

Why? Because they understand that control of Congress could come down to this race right here in the Hudson Valley.
