Hey John,

In just a couple weeks, the Supreme Court will begin hearing oral arguments on access to mifepristone. I don’t have to tell you how that’s likely to end.

Mifepristone is one of two medications that, together, are women’s only non-surgical method for abortion.

If SCOTUS rules against women’s reproductive rights like they did two years ago with Dobbs, then mifepristone will be BANNED after the first seven weeks of pregnancy, and the drug will only be available with an appointment that can take too long to schedule.

Millions of women will be impacted by this, John, even in states like Colorado that haven’t criminalized abortion.

Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress are pushing forward with the Life at Conception Act, a bill to ban abortion nationwide and redefine “human being.” The bill as it’s written today would also ban in vitro fertilization for families who can’t get pregnant on their own.

If Republicans keep the House in November, they will have another two years to work with the Supreme Court on this two-sided attack on women’s rights and reproductive care.

Kicking extremists like Lauren Boebert out of Congress and giving Democrats the House majority is our best and possibly ONLY shot to codify Roe v. Wade and save lives. Will you chip in today to help me get in there and fight like hell for American women?

The mifepristone case is in front of the Supreme Court because a Christian legal group decided they know better than the FDA. This group, the Alliance Defending Freedom, is classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and has the same dark money connections as some of our justices.

I will never criticize or discriminate against anyone’s religion, but when it comes to U.S. policy and Americans’ health, women’s rights and science should always come first, John. That’s why separation of church and state exists. If the worst Republicans had it their way, it wouldn’t.

Send me to Congress and I will fight tooth and nail for common sense governing, to combat corruption in the Supreme Court, and to protect ALL Americans from having their rights infringed upon by extremists like Lauren Boebert.
