When President Biden gave his State of the Union address last week, he made the stakes of this election clear. Everything from Social Security and Medicare funding, access to reproductive health care, to our most fundamental freedoms are at risk. Across the country, Republicans are working to weaken our democracy and flip states red by any means necessary. Luckily, President Biden has a strong firewall of Democratic governors on his side – acting as the last line of defense in the states. But the fight to keep our blue firewall strong and send President Biden back to the White House won’t be easy.
