Ready for a challenge? Set your sights on the Midwest Walleye Challenge, a new kind of fishing tournament for Nebraska.
This competition will give anglers in states across the Midwest a chance to compete for prizes while collecting important data for biologists. The Nebraska challenge runs March 30 to June 30.

Game and Parks approves 2024-2025 waterfowl season dates
At a March 8 meeting in Hastings, Nebraska Game and Parks approved 2024-2025 waterfowl hunting season dates. Commissioners also approved a staff recommendation to create a Veteran and Active-Duty Military waterfowl hunting season.
