Did
you know that of the 828 million people affected by hunger around the
world, 3 in 5 are women and girls?

Climate change, economic insecurity, conflict, and the war in Ukraine have
created the worst food shortage in a generation — and women and girls are
bearing the brunt of the crisis. When food is scarce, women often skip
meals to sacrifice for their families.

From distributing cash assistance to help families afford groceries to
building irrigation systems to help farmers grow crops, Mercy Corps is
responding by working with communities — and women in particular — to meet
urgent food needs and create more inclusive and resilient food systems.

Your support is critical to helping
women and their families worldwide overcome hunger, water insecurity,
poverty, and conflict. Plus, every dollar you give to Mercy Corps is
combined with an average of $4 in public grants to multiply our impact for
communities in 40+ countries. [ [link removed] ]Will you make a gift
today to make 5X the impact for families in crisis?

After Mercy Corps restored access to clean water in Zahra’s village in
northeastern Syria, she can cook dinner for her family with vegetables she
grows in her garden.

By targeting resources to women and girls, Mercy Corps is working to end
the generational cycle of hunger so new possibilities can take root.

In Indonesia, Mercy Corps is providing resources to women coffee
farmers to help them diversify and maximize their income as climate
change makes farming increasingly challenging.

In Kenya, Mercy Corps is helping women running small businesses to
build economic resilience through marketing, financial planning, and
savings.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, women are providing support to
other women who are pregnant or breastfeeding with the help of
training from Mercy Corps.

Together, we can plant the seeds for a better tomorrow. But we can’t do
this alone — your support is essential to fueling our work around the
world. [ [link removed] ]Give today to help us provide 5X the lifesaving support in 40+
countries.

With gratitude,

The Mercy Corps team
