Dialysis multiple times a week.
Steroids and medications.
Anxiously waiting for a kidney transplant.
This is the loneliness of growing up with a critical illness.
This is just scratching the surface of what kids with kidney disease might be going through on a daily basis. But a wish has the power to change everything for kids facing kidney diseases and other critical illnesses – giving them the strength they need to face harsh treatments, long hospital stays and the loneliness that often takes away their childhood joy.
It breaks my heart to think about the thousands of kids who are waiting for their wish to be granted as they go through the tough realities of kidney disease – especially because we know wish experiences can be key to improving their quality of life and producing better health outcomes.
When you donate in honor of World Kidney Day to make more wishes come true, you’ll give more kids relief from the stress of their illness. You’ll help provide wish experiences that are proven to produce better health outcomes.
Our mission isn’t possible without you. Thank you for helping us change kids’ lives through the impact of a wish.
