Last week, Trump called into Sean Hannity’s program on Fox News to complain about how governors were treating him during this crisis, claiming their requests for ventilators were exaggerated:
“I don't think that certain things will materialize,” the president said. “And you know, a lot of equipment’s being asked for that I don’t think they’ll need.”
Governor Cuomo, on the other hand, has appealed directly to the president for help, saying: “There is no other way for us to get these ventilators. We’ve tried everything else. The only way we can obtain these ventilators is from the federal government. Period.”
Despite his failure to help states prepare for the crisis, according to The Washington Post, Trump’s approval rating now stands at 49% -- the highest it’s ever been. We need to know:
