John,

Our daughters always decide that they all of the sudden love math on Pi Day, which they learned at school is an annual celebration on March 14th (3rd month, 14th day) for the mathematical constant π (pi or 3.14159 . . .). Why is this exciting to them?

They got pie at school.

So, Happy Pi(e) Day from Team Callie! Here in the Barr household, we're dead serious about our pies — if your pie isn’t made from scratch, it isn’t really pie.

So, while long numbers may generally put us to sleep, like my girls, we’ll jump at any occasion to celebrate our favorite dessert.

Tragically, ActBlue won't let us collect donations of $3.14159…, so we'll have to round it off.

Our campaign needs a little extra dough before our EOQ deadline. Will you chip in $3.14, $31.41, or $314.16 to help us bake a difference in this race?
