Hi there,
As you read this, scientists are panicking — global plastic production is now set to triple by 2050. If we don’t act now, the damage could be irreversible. [1]
We should all be on red alert. But Dove and their owners Unilever don’t seem to care. They’ve pumped 475 billion impossible-to-recycle plastic sachets into vulnerable communities even AFTER they promised to slash production. [2]
The worst offenders behind the plastics crisis are flying completely under the radar. We’re going to change that!
In just a few weeks, governments worldwide will be negotiating the Global Plastics Treaty, our best chance to ban single-use plastics forever. Dove and Unilever's huge power and influence at the Treaty could decide whether or not governments agree to a comprehensive ban on single-use plastics.
This could be a turning point for the planet — we don’t have a second to lose. We’re running a massive campaign to force Dove and Unilever to change. We’re going to shine a spotlight on them like never before. But for this to work, we need your help to put pressure on Dove and Unilever ahead of the Treaty negotiations.
Will you join the fight to take on the plastic polluters destroying the environment?

Friend, if enough people reading this email sign the open letter, Dove will have nowhere to hide. The whole world will read about their plastic pollution and Dove will be forced to address the issue publicly.
We know this works. It was Greenpeace supporters like you adding their names to petitions that convinced Sainsbury’s to commit to reducing their plastics usage by half. Now we need your help to win again.
Will you stand against corporate greed and help us win against GIANT plastic polluters?
Add your name and help make single-use plastics a thing of the past: [link removed]
Thank you for your support on this campaign. We couldn’t do this without you.
In solidarity and hope,

Note: Plastic can be a vital, life-saving material for disabled folks and people with medical conditions. This is not about pointing fingers at marginalised people, but at multinational mega businesses like Dove and Unilever who can and should be cleaning up the plastic pollution crisis that *they* are responsible for.
