John, we’ll get right to it. We’re off track to meet our mid-month fundraising goal by midnight Thursday. If we don’t pick up the pace TODAY, we’ll dig ourselves into a hole we can’t get out of.

Missing this goal could spell trouble for our campaign. Especially since our fundraising numbers will go PUBLIC after we submit them to the FEC at the end of this month.

If that number is lower than expected, our opponents will see it as a sign of weakness. They’ll spend even more to attack Jon Tester and tip the balance of this election in their favor.

On the other hand, if we surpass our goals, we’ll show real momentum—a grassroots campaign that has the power to take on the mountains of cash from super PACs trying to defeat us.
