John,
Together, we’re growing our anti-war movement in the halls of Congress and in State Legislatures across the country. We’re speaking out―for our shared humanity and against our government’s complicity in apartheid, genocide, and the blockade depriving Gaza’s residents of food and essential survival needs.
With U.S. backing and bombs, the Israeli military has killed more than 30,000 Palestinians―nearly half children—and orphaned over 17,000 more children. President Biden cut funding for the main UN agency providing aid in Gaza, and Israel’s government continues to intentionally starve residents of Gaza. Millions of lives are at risk if urgent action isn’t taken immediately.
Meanwhile, State Legislatures across the country are attacking our constitutional rights to protest, including through attempts to ban boycotts. And anti-Palestinian group AIPAC is planning to spend $100 million in an attempt to defeat pro-ceasefire candidates at all levels of office. So we’ve got to defend not only members of Congress, but also leaders in State Legislatures.
This week, I am proud to endorse 6 candidates for State Representative who are leaders in our movement for a ceasefire and human rights. Please split a donation between these candidates today.

We need more people in public office at all levels who value life, who stand up for human rights, and clearly denounce war crimes. In this time when dehumanization is endangering our communities, it’s vital to keep elected officials in office (and put more people into office!) who see everyone as worthy of life and of dignity.
Thank you for being a critical member of our movement for humanity.
In love and solidarity,
Rashida

John,
Democratic voters across every demographic group support a ceasefire and want the U.S. government to stop participating in genocide. But across the country, pro-ceasefire state and federal lawmakers are facing pressure to stay silent.
Just this week, as children are dying from intentional starvation in Gaza, anti-Palestinian group AIPAC has been directing calls into elected officials’ offices urging them to support the status quo, which has already resulted in the killing of more than 30,000 Palestinians and the forcible displacement of 2 million more.
That’s why State Representatives in our ceasefire movement need our support. They need to know that when they stand up for human rights and stand against genocide and apartheid, we have their backs.
AIPAC has pledged to spend $100 million in an attempt to defeat lawmakers at all levels of office who are speaking out for a permanent ceasefire. While some of our allies in Congress are able to rally national support for re-election campaigns, that is much more difficult for State Representatives, who must also be prepared to counter relentless attacks.
I am proud to endorse 6 candidates for State Representative―all of whom are leaders in our anti-war movement.
Will you split a contribution today between these 6 State Rep candidates who need our support now?
For our democracy and our humanity, we need more elected leaders at all levels of government standing up for human rights, clearly denouncing war crimes, and calling to invest in our communities rather than in destruction.
We must defend the elected leaders who actually represent their constituents, the majority of whom are crying out for an end to this violence.
When our government uses our tax dollars to enable genocide, it harms and devalues all of us, contributing to a society where people are considered disposable. In this time when dehumanization is endangering our communities, more than ever we need people in public office at all levels who value life—no matter people’s ethnicity or faith or racial background.
Split a donation today between these 6 courageous elected officials and candidates who are critical leaders in our ceasefire movement.
