Last week, I was proud to attend the State of the Union and witness President Biden deliver a clear message.

One line, in particular, stood out: "If you — if you, the American people, send me a Congress that supports the right to choose, I promise you I will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land again.” This is our call to action.

In 2022, I became the first pro-choice woman elected to serve West Michigan and the first Democrat to flip a 50-year Republican stronghold. This wasn’t just a win; it was a declaration. This year, we need to show up with the same strength.
