However, a beacon of hope remains within one of the most iconic, but often overlooked, offices in our land: the Sheriff's Office. This role represents a crucial opportunity to reclaim our liberties and safeguard our rights.

The Sheriff's Office is pivotal in upholding Libertarian principles at the local level, serving as a protector against tyranny and an advocate for individual rights. Importantly, a Libertarian Sheriff possesses the power to nullify bad laws through selective non-enforcement, prioritizing justice, and the preservation of liberty.

Why Run for Sheriff? 

• Local Impact: Sheriffs play a critical role in law enforcement within their counties. A Libertarian Sheriff can ensure that individual rights are prioritized, providing protection from unjust government actions. 
• Community Engagement: Campaigning for Sheriff allows for meaningful community interaction, spreading Libertarian values and showcasing the effectiveness of our principles in governance. 
• Winning Elections: Libertarians win FAR MORE often when running for local races, and in many places the office of Sheriff doesn’t even require a law enforcement background. Local races require less money and are often winnable with a few thousand votes in most places.
