This week, Joe Biden released his budget proposal for the year.
First thing to know, the president’s budget isn’t necessarily a real budget. It’s a statement of priorities.
Second, and more importantly, this president’s priorities are wildly off-base.
What does he want?
—> $7.3 TRILLION in spending
—> TRILLIONS in new tax increases on Americans
—> A $1.8 TRILLION deficit
Like the subject line said, this is a perfect example of what’s wrong with Washington. Career politicians and insiders have no regard for how their policies impact working families here in Georgia’s 3rd District, or across the country for that matter.
During my time in the Georgia Senate, we balanced our budget every single year. We cut taxes four times in ten years, including the largest income tax cut in Georgia’s history. And we kept government out of the way.
Congress needs an Army Ranger, and some more Georgia common sense, to hold the line against this big spending nonsense.
That’s another reason why I’m running for Congress now, and I’m in it to win it.
