Both Houses of Maine Legislature Pass National Popular Vote

The Maine Senate today passed the National Popular Vote bill by a bi-partisan 22-13 vote (status of LD1578).

The House passed the bill last week by a 74-67 vote.

The bill now goes back to the House for a second vote, and then for a second vote in the Senate.

This would be a good time to remind legislators in your state to pass National Popular Vote in your state.
