John,
If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this:
My values are shaped by where I come from.
Rural Americans face challenges that most people don’t even realize. The issues we face aren’t abstract—and they’re not some political game, either.
Spending long hours on a tractor gives me some opportunity to sort through those issues in solitude.
I’m thinking about wealthy out-of-staters buying up family farms and driving up costs, making it harder for Montanans to afford to stay here.
I’m thinking about the rural towns near mine that need access to high-speed internet.
And I’m thinking about a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, and how politicians want to attack that freedom.
These aren’t just talking points, John. They’re very real issues that deserve our attention—and more importantly, folks deserve solutions. I’m fighting for those solutions every day, but to keep fighting, I’ll need your help to send me back to the Senate.
So I’m asking: Can you pitch in now to help us hit our mid-month fundraising goal? I could really use your support so we don’t fall behind.
Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through ActBlue.
I appreciate all you do for us.
—Jon
