John,

As baseball's Opening Day approaches, our Knock Tobacco Out of the Park campaign just scored another home run.

Baltimore stadiums are going 100% tobacco-free – on and off the field!

The ordinance, which was passed unanimously by the Baltimore City Council and signed today by Mayor Brandon Scott, prohibits all tobacco use in city stadiums, including Oriole Park at Camden Yards. No more players with cheeks full of chewing tobacco or lips full of dip for young fans to emulate.

With the addition of Baltimore, 17 of 30 Major League Baseball stadiums will now be completely tobacco-free.

Because of tireless campaigning by our team and partners in Baltimore – with the support of advocates like you across the country – we're another step closer to breaking the link between baseball and tobacco use.

Help us keep up the momentum as we fight city-by-city to Knock Tobacco Out of the Park! Support our campaign by making a contribution today.

Sports should support healthy and active lifestyles, not deadly and addictive products. Together we can set the right example for our kids.

Sincerely,

Kevin O'Flaherty
Campaign Director, Knock Tobacco Out of the Park
