Last week, President Biden took to the stage to deliver the State of the Union Address. He gave a great speech, with a minor stutter. Donald Trump mimicked and mocked the president, setting an example that it’s ok to make fun of people who may speak a little differently than we do.

I wanted to take a moment to share a story of a time I was with Joe Biden in Tennessee while working under the Obama Administration.

We met a child with a stutter, and Biden went above and beyond to provide support and encouragement. Hear the full story here.

President Biden is a leader we can be proud of. One who sets the example that kindness and empathy go further than bullying and mocking.

Donald Trump doesn’t feel that way. He will always take low road and tear people down.

As a parent, I would never want anyone to make fun of my child for their differences, and I would never want them to think it was acceptable to tear someone down.

We deserve a president we can all be proud of, and that is why I am working hard this year to re-elect President Biden.
