#BeUMC - Online Course

As United Methodists, we strive to be people of God who faithfully follow Jesus. In seeking to make the world a better place through our love of God and neighbor, it’s important to remember that each of us is vital to the future of the denomination. The #BeUMC course will help remind us of our vital roles as we study and learn together.

In each session, you will join others in studying scripture, reading from our United Methodist tradition and more. Together, we can reclaim our identity, revive our passion for making disciples of Jesus Christ and renew our commitment to mission and ministry. Join us as we strive to #BeUMC! 

This course is NOT included in the lay education certification pathway but it is still a great learning opportunity. This course is open to everyone.

Course Dates: Thursdays - April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2 and 9
Course Time: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Course Location: Online via Zoom

United Methodist Family Day at the Ballpark 

The season has arrived! This year is once again a DAY game in June to avoid the hottest temperatures. The game date is Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:15 PM against the San Francisco Giants. Rev. Lynette Moran, a deacon and PhD candidate who has worked with and studied individual/collective grief, is currently researching grief related to the United Methodist Church.
