NIJ FY24 Research on Multidisciplinary Teams

NIJ seeks proposals from accredited research universities to study multidisciplinary teams working on sexual exploitation crimes against children. Proposed studies should address: 

  • The structure, participants, and outcomes of multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Best practices to improve effectiveness, outcomes, and victim well-being.

Application Instructions 

Applications will be submitted in a two-step process, each step with its own deadline: 

  1. Submit an SF-424 and an SF-LLL in Grants.gov.
    Grants.gov Deadline: May 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET 
  2. Submit the full application, including attachments, in JustGrants.
    JustGrants Deadline: May 22, 2024 at 8:59 p.m. ET 

Applicants must register with Grants.gov and JustGrants prior to submitting an application.

The following application elements must be included in the application to meet the basic minimum requirements to advance to peer review and receive consideration for funding: 

  • SF-424 and SF-LLL (in Grants.gov). 
  • Proposal Narrative (in JustGrants). 
  • Budget Web-Based Form, which includes the budget details and the budget narrative (in JustGrants). 
  • Curriculum Vitae/Resumes for Key Personnel (For purposes of this solicitation, “key personnel” means the principal investigator, and any and all co-principal investigators.).
