John,

We just wanted to pass along a quick note with a timeline of key events over the past week. In short, Senator Braun's support has been collapsing as we have been surging. This momentum is consistent with how our data and research indicated this race would take shape.

--

Senator Braun's Brutal Week:

Friday AM: A new poll from Fox59 released Friday AM showed Senator Braun’s numbers have dropped 13 points since he joined the race. In fact, 43% of voters remain undecided. Meanwhile, after starting with no statewide name recognition, the same poll showed our campaign has surged into a tie for second place.

Friday PM: The Chambers campaign announces the formation of a dark money group and a 7 figure media effort to attack Senator Braun's record.

Tuesday AM: We released a new statewide ad featuring Tucker Carlson taking Senator Braun to task for his well-documented proposal to make it easier to sue law enforcement.

Tuesday PM: Senator Braun is forced to respond to our ad. He launches a false 17-second online attack against Doden. His new ad includes already discredited claims and a website that has been called “mostly false,” “half true” and “murky” by media fact-checkers. It is clear he is becoming desperate.

What It All Means: Senator Braun’s campaign has been hinged on his “inevitability.” But based on his collapsing poll numbers and his desperate attack on our surging campaign, Senator Braun is the weakest frontrunner in the history of Indiana.

The bottom line: this race is just getting started.

Thank you,
Brian Gamache, Doden for Indiana Campaign Manager
