You may have heard about Project 2025 by now—a comprehensive plan for a Trump takeover of our entire government if he's elected president again.

The 920-page playbook is dressed up like a boring policy paper, but the details are frightening:

• Assert Trump's authority over all parts of the federal government¹
• Attempt to ban abortion nationwide by manipulating an antiquated law from the 1800s to block access to medication abortion and medical equipment used for abortion care²
• Literally delete terms like abortion, sexual orientation, and gender from every federal rule, regulation, and piece of legislation³
• Attack transgender people and advance anti-trans policies by funding studies about conversion therapy⁴

John, I'm not trying to scare you, but these right-wing extremists have literally written out their game plan for continuing to undermine our reproductive freedom. We cannot afford to ignore it.

For anyone who cares about reproductive freedom, LGTBQ+ rights, civil rights, and our democracy, the mere existence of this plan should be alarming.

And it's not like they're keeping it a secret, either. They've got a whole website and a tagline and everything. They even announced the Project 2025 advisory board the day Roe v. Wade was overturned!⁵

I wish I could say there's nothing to worry about, but polls show an increasingly tight race between President Biden and Trump. We really can't leave anything to chance, which is why we're making such significant investments in re-electing the President, protecting our majority in the U.S. Senate, and flipping the U.S. House with our on-the-ground organizing and mobilization work.
