Spring has sprung, and what is our favorite part of Spring? Birdathon! ([link removed])

We are kicking off our annual birding event and fundraiser, the 2024 Birdathon, which will run between April 20 and May 19th. Whether you are new to birding, a seasoned pro, or simply a bird enthusiast, you can be a part of this year’s Birdathon and support ASNV’s outdoor education, citizen science, and conservation programs.

What’s it all about?
Birdathon is about taking time out of our busy lives to join our friends and neighbors to bird our hearts out and raise money to support ASNV’s important work. As for a walk-a-thon, participants collect pledges from friends and families to support a day of birding in which individuals and teams compete to spot the most species in 24 hours.

Here’s how YOU can support this year’s Birdathon
You can register to participate in a day of birding, support a team with a pledge, or simply make a gift to support Birdathon! You can register here ([link removed]) and learn more about the event. Teams will be posted to the website by April 20. Make a donation to ASNV here ([link removed]) . To learn more you can also join us at our Spring Social ([link removed]) . Come alone or bring a friend and meet other birders and birding enthusiasts. All are welcome.

Here are four ways you can help Birdathon Succeed:
1. Sponsor Birdathon ([link removed]) if you have a business or work for a philanthropic company.
2. Cheer on a team (or two) by making a donation to your favorite team this Spring.
3. Start your own team ([link removed]) and raise funds from friends and family.
