John, you’ve likely seen the news by now that Virginia’s Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin has endorsed Donald Trump — and plans to work with him to flip the state red in November.

I’m not going to beat around the bush: The stakes are too high for us to get complacent and just assume Virginia will vote blue. 

The truth is that Virginia is still a battleground. Republicans win some elections, and Democrats win some elections. Some years, it’s a toss-up.
