The state budget takes 3 branches of government: The Governor, Senate and Assembly. Senators and Assemblymembers have been quiet in response to Governor Cuomo’s calls to make cuts to education.
Call out your New York State representatives publicly on social media using the sample posts at the bottom of this email. Find them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and ask them: do you support taxing the wealthy to fund our schools to stop Governor Cuomo’s proposed cuts?
