A new, highly-anticipated announcement from the Biden administration offers an opportunity to address this injustice by electrifying our entire freight system by 2040. The plan, announced this week, enables the biggest-ever coordinated federal investment to electrify our freight industry—cutting deadly air pollution, creating hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs, and fighting climate change—all while keeping our supply chains and economy pushing full-steam ahead.
