Lawmakers opposed to abortion never planned to stop at overturning Roe. Across the country, in different courts and at various levels of government, those politicians and their allies are trying to ban abortion nationwide and take away our reproductive rights.

• They are working to limit the FDA's approval of mifepristone, which has been used safely for more than two decades for medication abortion and miscarriage care.
• They are harming IVF treatment through “personhood” laws — which also jeopardize miscarriage care, abortion, and birth control.
• They are trying to prevent emergency room doctors from providing abortion care, undermining a federal law (the Emergency Medical Treatment & Labor Act) that requires stabilizing treatment, including abortion, be provided in emergencies.

They're doing all of this in the courts because they know they can't win in the court of public opinion.

And right now, Texas is backing an anti-abortion radical in a baseless $1.8 BILLION dollar lawsuit that threatens to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers. Their goal is to take away critical health care like cancer screenings, birth control, and STI testing and treatment from millions of people in Texas and beyond.
