The truth is, the state of Texas has been left abandoned.



Joe Biden and his so-called Border Czar, Kamala Harris, have been avoiding
Texans and the dire situation at our southern borderfor quite some time.



Now, the Texas National Guard and Governor Abbott have had to step in and take
extraordinary measures to protect Texans because the federal government simply
hasn’t done its job in securing the southern border and protecting Americans.



I’ve been hard at work in the Senate fighting for the safety of Texans and
working to protect our nation from Joe Biden’s reckless open-border immigration
policies, and I’ll continue to do so until our borders are secure again.

John, this has become a business model for the cartel. They overwhelm the
border with people that have to be processed and then flood our country with
illegal substances like deadly fentanyl.



Last year alone, nearly 110,000 Americans died of overdoses - 71,000 of them
died of fentanyl poisoning, which came in from our open southern border.



As if that wasn’t bad enough, there have been 300,000 unaccompanied children
placed with sponsors in the U.S., and the government has lost tens of thousands
of them. They can’t tell you if they’re in school, if they’re safe, or if
they’re being trafficked. They simply don’t know.



It’s time to reclaim our great nation, secure our borders, and immediately end
the release of illegal immigrants into America.
