Health Network has proven to be an easily modifiable patient navigation system for healthcare needs of mobile populations with application in disease surveillance and treatment management for any number of injuries, illnesses, or care needs among mobile populations.

Laszlo Madaras, MD, MPH

Laszlo Madaras, MD, MPH, is a hospitalist in Pennsylvania and the Chief Medical Officer for Migrant Clinicians Network. As CMO, he oversees all MCN's clinical activities, including Health Network. Dr. Madaras has extensive experience with immigrant, migrant, and refugee populations. As a child refugee, he emigrated with his family to America. He has worked in refugee camps around the world and has worked closely with immigrant and migrant families in his community to support their health and well-being. He received his MD and Master's in Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine. He is also a staff physician in Tuberculosis control for the Pennsylvania State Health Department, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine, and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Brown University.
