NORML
March 30, 2020

Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the NORML team is working remotely in compliance with CDC guidelines. However, the work of reforming our nations failed marijuana laws are not suspended therefore we’re sending you the below action alert regarding policy efforts in your state. We encourage you to read our post about our efforts and best practices for the cannabis community during these trying times.

John,

Safe and convenient patient access to medical cannabis is essential, and being able to maintain that access should be a top priority for regulators and elected officials during this time of crisis.

Send a message to Mayor Bowser in support of medical cannabis deliveries

Homebound patients, as well as those in rural areas without convenient access to a dispensary, still need and deserve convenient, safe, and reliable access to their medicine, on which many depend.

Especially amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic when the population is encouraged to practice social distancing and stay home for extended periods of time, these options are more important than ever.

Urge Mayor Bowser to offer delivery options to adequately serve medical cannabis patients in this time of crisis

Thanks for all you do,

The NORML Team
