Friends,
Most of the time, it's important enough to drive 150 miles to Ironwood to understand their childcare problems, or the 160 miles to the Soo to understand nurses’ grievances, like yesterday.
My team's "favorite" - 462.9 (7 hours) from Copper Harbor to Standish. Our district is gigantic, and my opponent doesn't even live in it.
Yesterday, I proudly picketed in solidarity with the Michigan Nurses Association in the Soo, alongside Jodi Decker, a candidate for Michigan House. We're advocating for equitable pay. MMMCS nurses deserve a fair contract.
If nurses are outside, something's wrong inside.
, today, I am also requesting your support for today and our other upcoming events in March. Showing up is paramount.
My team and I will attend 25 events in 18 counties throughout the month. We are working hard to reach as many voters as possible, but we need your help.
This Congressional district the size of Ireland, one of the largest in the country. It takes a lot of resources to travel from end to end, and ahead of our quarterly fundraising deadline at the end of the month, I need you.
Help me fight for livable wages for workers, good jobs, health care, education, infrastructure, energy independence, protecting the environment, and addressing climate change.
Help us continue our work. Help us sustain this movement. Your contribution will enable us to reach more voters and support their causes.
Join our fight.
