Friends,
🦸♀️ To celebrate Women’s History Month, we wanted to shout out two of our incredible LG women: DLGA Chair Peggy Flanagan and Kentucky lieutenant governorJacqueline Coleman were both spotlighted in USA Today’s 2024 Women of the Year for their groundbreaking work in the Midwest. Read more about it here. 🔦
Our list of women lt. governors continues to grow each year, and we are proud to have the most diverse group of statewide elected officials in the nation — over 80% of our members are women and people of color!
♀️With the far-right’s attacks on abortion, IVF treatment, and contraception, there’s never been a more important time to have women in every legislature where decisions about their bodies are being made. That’s why we’re building the bench for the next generation of women Democratic leaders in every state.
Women leaders are the future of the Democratic Party, and here at the DLGA we’re building that bench. Will you join us in celebrating Women’s History Month by chipping in $10 or more to help elect more Democratic women lt. governors across the country? →
Thanks to your support, we’re going to make history again — in November, and beyond.
Thanks for investing in our women-powered movement!
— DLGA
