TIME: She Wasn't Able to Get an Abortion. Now She's a Mom. Soon She'll Start 7th Grade.
I'm the only pro-choice candidate in this race, and I need your help to win. Donate to help send me to Congress where I will fight to ensure anyone who needs to access an abortion can do so.

John,
When I first read this TIME article, it gutted me. And so have the countless other stories of those who've suffered because anti-choice Republicans have cut off their access to abortion care.
This year, we are up against not one, but two extremist anti-choice candidates in the Republican primary for our race: Brian Fitzpatrick and Mark Houck.
In fact, Mark Houck is so anti-choice he declared on the radio thatย "rape and incest is not a good excuse" for someone to get an abortion. It's a disgusting, callous belief that is exactly how you end up with 13-year-olds being forced to give birth.
Here's where I stand on abortion and your right to choose:
I believe that access to abortion is essential to protecting the rights of women to freely participate in society.
I believe YOU know best when it comes to your healthcare โ not me or any politician.
Everyone loves someone who has had an abortion. Nearly 1 in 4 women will have an abortion in their lifetimes.
It is not enough to restore Roe. We need to make sure everyone in this country, regardless of zip code or economic status, can access the full range of healthcare that they need โ not just reproductive care, but all care.
Iโm the ONLY pro-choice candidate in this race, and you can trust me to protect your right to choose just like I protected my unit on the battlefield from my Apache helicopter.
I just need your help to build a campaign that can get me to Congress, where I can make the biggest difference. Will you pitch in your first donation of $10 before our first FEC fundraising deadline of the year?
