Robert Hur Testifies Before House Judiciary Committee on His Report on Biden’s Handling of Classified Documents
Politico: Ahead of former Special Counsel Robert Hur’s Tuesday testimony on his report about President Joe Biden’s handling of classified information, lawmakers released a transcript of Hur’s interview with Biden — a document that sheds major new light on his findings. Hur used his testimony to defend the impartiality of his report, which Biden and his allies slammed as gratuitous for highlighting perceived lapses in the president’s memory and suggesting that Biden could portray himself as a “sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man” ( Politico). Townhall: Special Counsel Hur defends his assessment of Biden’s memory in his report: “The evidence and the president himself put his memory squarely at issue…my assessment in the report about the relevance of the president’s memory was necessary and accurate and fair” ( X).Charlie Kirk: Special Counsel Robert Hur just testified that the ghostwriter attempted to destroy the audio recordings of Joe Biden’s interview ( X). Democrats Side With Republicans to Condemn Biden’s Immigration Policy
Fox News: Fourteen Democrats voted with Republicans on Tuesday to pass a GOP-led resolution condemning President Biden’s immigration policies. The resolution also accused the Biden administration of pushing asylum policies that critics argue helped fuel the border crisis and that the administration “has purposely violated United States immigration law by refusing to detain inadmissible aliens arriving at the border.” The vote comes hours after House Democrats’ newly created task force on border security held its first press conference calling for bipartisan solutions to the crisis ( Fox News). NRCC: 193 extreme House Democrats voted NOT to condemn the Biden Admin’s open-border policies that caused 8 million illegal border crossings, crippled cities’ budgets & increased violent illegal migrant crime ( X). Hill: Over two dozen House Democrats established a new border security task force on Tuesday, as members double down on border policy amid the 2024 election. The task force, co-chaired by Reps. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) and Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.), is dedicated to “countering the surge of illicit narcotics threatening communities across the country and addressing the influx of irregular migration at the southern border,” Cuellar’s office said in a statement ( Hill). RNC Research: Karine Jean-Pierre confirms Biden is no longer considering executive action to secure the border — even though he dismantled border security by executive order immediately after taking office ( X).

Most Democrats Would Support Congress Not Certifying Election if Trump Wins

Townhall: The poll found 57 percent of Democrats would back members of Congress attempting to stop Trump from taking office ( X). England's National Health Service Halts Doling Out Puberty Blockers to Children
Fox News: England’s National Health Service banned the use of puberty blockers for children seeking treatment for gender dysphoria, citing limited research. Puberty blockers is a class of drugs that suppresses sex hormones in adolescents by continually stimulating the pituitary gland. It will now only be available to children in limited ways, such as clinical trials. The NHS’s website said, “Puberty blockers are not available to children and young people for gender incongruence or gender dysphoria because there is not enough evidence of safety and clinical effectiveness” ( Fox News). End Wokeness: The National Health Service of England is BANNING puberty blockers for minors. This ban even includes clinical research. Every country must follow their lead and criminalize this abuse once and for all ( X). Libs of TikTok: England bans the use of puberty blockers for minors at gender clinics ( X)!

LGBT Movement Progressed Quickly, But Pumps the Breaks on Transing Children
Albert Mohler: A prominent magazine makes “the moral case for letting trans kids change their bodies”—and makes it the cover story. With relentless energy, the revolutionaries have bulldozed through the culture, breaking down one moral barrier after another—and all in the name of sexual and moral liberation. First the revolution came for heterosexual relations. Within a matter of mere decades, marriage was redefined and humanity’s most basic institution was “expanded” to include same-sex couples. Simultaneously, there were demands that homosexuals be given full recognition and liberation as well. That revolution took a bit longer to gain traction, but then it gained momentum and expanded its aims. The modern LGBTQ movement represents two great achievements of the liberationists. First, they took advantage of identity politics in order to push their aims in the public square and demand political action. Second, they took advantage of the ideological shift toward unbridled personal autonomy in order to argue for gender identity over virtually everything else—including biology. They gained so much ground, so fast, that even the revolutionaries and the LGBTQ activists were astounded. Their sexual identity ideology was celebrated by the culture industry and the elites, who constantly bombarded the rest of us that the empire of the rainbow flag was unstoppable and would be universal. On the transgender issue, the movement has actually lost ground. An interesting but predictable pattern emerged. A lot of Americans seem to be willing to have a 35-year-old declare transgender identity and life goes on. But when it comes to children and teenagers, Americans are not ready to join the trans revolution, especially when it comes to hormonal treatments, much less surgery. Britain is closing its identity clinic for children and teenagers at Tavistock. Other European nations are also shifting into far more conservative positions on hormonal and surgical “treatments” for young people claiming to be trans or non-binary ( WNG).

White House Announces $300 Million Aid Package for Ukraine
USA Today: The White House announced a $300 million military aid package for Ukraine, as Russian forces make battlefield gains and a much larger aid proposal for ammunition and armor remains stuck in Congress. The White House’s package announced Tuesday will include ammunition, anti-aircraft missiles and armor-piercing weapons, according to senior Defense officials who were not authorized to speak publicly ( USA Today). Axios: The new package was made possible by cost savings from Defense Department contracts to replace equipment sent to Ukraine in previous drawdowns that came in under budget. While the Senate passed a $95 billion foreign aid package in February that includes aid for Ukraine, the bill faces a tough road ahead in the House ( Axios).

Haiti’s PM Resigns, Remaining Government Scrambles to Establish Authority
Wall Street Journal: Haiti’s embattled Prime Minister Ariel Henry agreed to resign once a transitional presidential council and an interim prime minister have been named to prepare the way for elections as quickly as possible amid surging gang violence, Caribbean leaders said late Monday night. The Haitian prime minister has been holed up in Puerto Rico for a week, unable to get back into Haiti. Henry traveled to Kenya in search of support for a proposed multinational security force of at least 1,000 police officers to battle gangs that have taken over more than 80% of the capital of Port-au-Prince ( Wall Street Journal). Washington Post: Haitian political leaders are scrambling to meet a 24-hour deadline to establish a transitional council to lead the deteriorating country following the resignation of Prime Minister. The council will temporarily carry out the duties of the country’s president, a position that has been vacant since the still-unsolved 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. The new transitional council will be composed of seven voting members representing seven sectors of Haitian society, including Henry’s political party. It will also include two nonvoting members, from civil society and the interfaith community, according to a statement from the Caricom regional bloc ( Washington Post).

Loretta Lynch Attempts to Hide Chinese Drone Company From U.S. Scrutiny
Reuters: When a Chinese drone company came under U.S. government scrutiny over its alleged ties to China’s military, the company turned to one of America’s pre-eminent lawyers: Loretta Lynch, a former attorney general in the Obama administration. Lynch, who ran the U.S. Department of Justice from 2015 to 2017 and is now a partner at the Paul, Weiss law firm, wrote a letter to a senior Defense Department official last July on behalf of SZ DJI Technology Co Ltd, asking that her client be removed from a list of Chinese military companies. But the letter is an example of what transparency advocates and some members of Congress – dozens of whom have supported bills to change rules – say are gaps in the law that allow lawyers and lobbyists, including former officials, to avoid disclosing their advocacy for companies possibly subject to U.S. sanctions ( Reuters). Select Committee on the CCP: Former US Attorney General worked on behalf of Chinese military company. “When a Chinese drone company came under scrutiny, the company turned to Loretta Lynch, a former attorney general in the Obama administration” ( X).

Inflation is on the Rise
Katie Pavlich: Contrary to the Biden administration’s repeated claims, inflation is on the rise and went up again in February. During his State of the Union address last week, Biden falsely stated inflation “keeps coming down.” Consumer protection and job creator advocates are responding to the numbers ( Townhall). RNC Research: CNBC: “Inflation compared to 2017, 2018, 2019 is significantly higher” — as middle-class Americans suffer in the Biden economy ( X). Charles Payne: Although there are efforts to suggest prices are coming down – bone-crushing inflation continues to mount. 35 months and counting above 3.0% ( X).
