Dear Friends,
I hope this email finds you well and filled with the same hope and determination that has driven our campaign thus far. Last Tuesday was a monumental day for all of us as we stood together to make our voices heard in the California primary election.
I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you who turned out to vote, who volunteered, who donated generously, and who spread our message of hope and progress across every corner of our district. Your unwavering support has been the fuel that propelled us forward, and I am humbled by the trust you have placed in me to be your voice.
While the final results are still being tallied, it is becoming increasingly clear that we are poised for a rematch in the general election against the incumbent, Jimmy Gomez. This is an opportunity for us to continue the fight for real change in our community, to amplify our voices, and to champion the values we hold dear.
As we look ahead to the general election, I want to emphasize that our work is far from over. In fact, it has only just begun. True progressivism requires dedication, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to justice and equality for all. I cannot do this alone; I need each and every one of you by my side as we embark on the next phase of this journey.
Together, we have the power to shape the future of our district and our state. Together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for every working family in CA-34 and around the country. But it will take all of us, united in purpose and driven by our shared values, to make that vision a reality.
So let us recommit ourselves to the task at hand, let us redouble our efforts, and let us continue to stand together as we march towards victory in November. I am proud to have you on this journey with me, and I am confident that, together, we will prevail.
