Alarming: On Friday, in a closed-door meeting, No Labels officially voted
to move forward with its dangerous and deceptive presidential campaign
that could siphon votes away from President Biden and hand the election to
Donald Trump.^1
The move comes just weeks after No Labels took the outrageous step of
asking the Justice Department to investigate MoveOn for criminal
harassment, extortion, and "unlawful conspiracy" under RICO—the law often
used to prosecute organized crime(!)—because we have been organizing to
expose their plot that would reinstall Trump in the White House.^2
MoveOn now needs to be prepared to fight on three fronts: 1) We must be
ready for a potential legal fight with No Labels—and our legal costs could
add up VERY fast. 2) We must be prepared to take on a deceitful No Labels
presidential run in key battleground states. And 3) We must go all-in to
defeat Trump and stop his plans to institute a nationwide abortion ban and
rip away our other freedoms.

Despite the fact that they are backed by shady billionaires—including
Harlan Crow, Nazi memorabilia collector and Clarence Thomas's
benefactor—No Labels has ZERO chance of winning the presidency.^3
In fact, they don't even have a candidate.
But No Labels is charging full steam ahead with a desperate and reckless
dark-money campaign.
No Labels has pledged to announce their candidate between March 14 and
early April—and political pundits say that Chris Christie is the
highest-profile name currently being considered.^4
Whether it's Christie or anyone else, we will launch a hard-hitting ad
blitz in Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin within 24-48 hours
after No Labels announces its candidate. No Labels is already on the
ballot in these crucial battleground states, and MoveOn's ads will
immediately begin shaping the narrative about how the ticket's very
existence threatens to put Trump back in the White House and destroy our
democracy and fundamental freedoms.

No Labels is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
They disguise themselves as a group of "moderates," but their dark-money
funders include some of the most destructive right-wing billionaires in
America.^5
And their plans, when you look at the details, would have the clear impact
of siphoning votes away from President Biden and tipping the election to
Trump.^6
Not only is their effort doomed to fail ... and not only would it throw
the election to Trump ... but there are numerous complaints of No Labels
misleading voters.
For example, they are accused of misleading voters into changing their
party registration in Maine.^7 And, in Rhode Island, No Labels' petition
papers were referred to the local police department because their
organizers may have forged the signatures of dead people.^8 Dead people!
John, we cannot afford to pull a cent away from our campaign
to defeat Trump and stop his plans to rip away our freedoms. But we also
have to do everything we can to stop No Labels and their potential
third-party spoiler campaign—while also ensuring that we are not bullied
into silence by No Labels' baseless legal accusations.
